A decade after its original release, DEAD remains a bold, genre-shattering statement from Young Fathers — a record that announced the trio as one of the most inventive forces in modern music. Blending hip-hop, experimental pop, punk energy and raw emotional intensity, the album is as urgent and boundary-pushing today as it was in 2014. Its fearless production, hypnotic rhythms and unfiltered lyrics helped pave the way for the group’s Mercury Prize–winning rise.
This 10th Anniversary Edition, pressed on Record Store Day crystal clear vinyl, gives the album new life with enhanced clarity and presence across a 2LP format. Housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve, it’s a striking, collectible edition that celebrates the legacy of a modern classic.
For longtime fans and new listeners alike, this reissue captures the full weight, tension and brilliance of DEAD — a record that still hits with uncompromising force.
